A doodle I did one day in Photoshop, which turned into something a bit more sophisticated. It started with the sparkles, which are painted with a soft brush on low opacity, so I could make them brighter by clicking several times. Once I had done the sparkles, I put in a bit of extra colour on a layer behind. I like it.

I like the sparkles! Scan looks a little blurry but we can always blame the scanner. 2 I like him.

It has a very nice soft feel to it. I like the expression on his face, almost sad and as if he’s sizing up something out of the frame of the picture
