Tag As FavoriteComment		Elfwood inspires me. I was looking through guided tours about mermaids and dolphins, and this just popped out. It expresses the joy I feel at the sea in summertime, the joy of the cold spray, the colours of the sea, the rainbows in spray. I have an almost uncontrollable impulse to swim in the sea, even at stupid times of year, because I see all that beauty and I just want to be part of it. I recently invested in a wetsuit, which allows me to indulge my urge without getting hypothermia.

For some reason I cannot draw skinny women. They are always well-covered. I expect this is because I am well-covered myself. Draw what you know! She looks like she enjoys her curves as much as she enjoys the rest of life.

Pencil on cartridge paper. Contact me if you want to colour this, I would love to see it coloured but I may never get round to it.
