A Cavian - one of a race of sentient rodents. This is no character in particular, just an anatomy study. His head is a bit big and his feet are too close together. Not bad otherwise.

What’s wrong with squatting? They seem to have evolved more muscular back legs and feet.

"Squatting" really is a strange word! He’s got an expression like "’Tis a sad day for the Cavian. Oh, dear.". Or maybe it’s just me. I love this piece!

Actually, it looks more like he’s flossing his incisors... hee hee 1
He also looks a lot like the "Thinker" sculpture.

Incidentally, I know what you mean about the word "squatting"; it sounds dirty or disgusting and it gets caught in your teeth when you try to spit it out. My tongue and teeth can’t take that word...
I’m very good at squatting, though, and can stay like that for over ten minutes or until my feet hurt... whichever comes first 1
I love all your Cavians, Catriona; they look so cuddly!
